Andie stopped by the marine lab again this week to say hello everyone and distract people from doing science. Andie and Olivia She is getting better at holding onto things with her hands. Here she is rattling away with her rattle:

Sophie first met Andie when she was less than a week old -- Andie has grown so much since then. Sophie stopped by again this weekend with Maren, who was just a little baby when  Jason first met her. We attended the Camp Meeker Volunteer Fire Department's pancake breakfast this morning. Andie decided it was a good day to sport her fire truck onesie (thanks Jill and Sebi!). We met Sasquatch on the way home.

We've had some more wonderful visitors over the past few weeks who have all brought us delicious food! Uncle Andy, Aunt Ashley, and their kiddos visited this weekend, and baby Andie finally got to meet her namesake. Uncle Andy tries to pose like Grandpa. Andie had tons of fun hanging out with her cousins! Hawkeye enjoyed the extra attention, too. It was so wonderful to have them all here, and their next visit can't come soon enough!

Andie turned two months old yesterday! To celebrate, she went to the pediatrician to get her first big round of vaccinations. She was a trooper!  She now weighs 11 lbs, 6 oz and is longer than her plush squid. Squid = 22 inches. Andie = 23 inches. Andie also celebrated her two-month mark by attending her first Science Uncorked at Gourmet au Bay and her first Tuesday night at the Union Hotel. We had a big weekend celebrating Kristin's first Mother's Day and Jason's birthday. We were so lucky to spend them both with Nana! James and Marty took Jason golfing for his birthday and then came by the house for dinner. Nana and Andie had a wonderful time together. It was terrific to have her here, and we're so excited for when she and Papa are out here for good! Nana even let Jason and Kristin go on their first date night since Andie was born. They went to Terrapin Creek Cafe, and they made sure to bring dessert back home to Nana as a thank you. There were lots of smiles and snoozes this weekend. Andie also spent some time hanging out with big brother Hawkeye. Andie has been doing a whole lot of babbling. We think this girl might be a quite a talker someday!

Happy Mother's Day to two amazing women who have taught Kristin and Jason so much about what it means to be great parents. We all love you so much and are so happy you're in Andie's life to make up for any parental shortcomings we may encounter along the way :-)

Suzanne, Nate, and Josie stopped by for a visit today. Andie thought Nate was the coolest, and he made her smile a bunch.
