100th post

We've made it to our 100th post just in time for the new year. Here are a few fun times we've had this holiday season that haven't fit into other posts. We went to some wonderful holiday parties at our neighbors' houses. We had a fantastic visit from our good friends Rebecca and Mike. Andie played her first game of Settlers of Catan. She was very serious about it. We had some brunch at Howard's. Andie spent some time in the stocking Nana knit for her. And  we ate some messy meals. Andie made sure to balance all that eating with some exercise. Happy New Year!

Christmas, part 2

Kristin, Jason, Andie, and Hawkeye drove up to Grass Valley to see Jason's family for Christmas. They stopped for lunch on the way. Andie got to help make handprint t-shirts with her cousins for Grandma Jane and Grandpa Stan. It was fun to have paint all over her hand. She got to open presents a day early at Grandma Jane's and Grandpa Stan's. Jason got a new dive helmet. It's a little large yet for Andie. Aunt Ashley cooked some delicious cioppino for everyone on Christmas Eve. We hung out with family more on Christmas Day. Aunt Ashley, Andie, Taylor, and Deacon Hunter, Uncle Jason, and Finn Baby Andie and Uncle Andy both caught a quick snooze so they could get through all the day's festivities. We stopped by the Hospitality House to visit all the aunties and uncles helping cook Christmas dinner for those in need. Andie and Aunt Lynn had similar outfits Andie liked the little balls on Aunt Sar...

Christmas, part 1

We started Andie's first Christmas celebrations last week by dressing her up for a holiday party at a neighbor's house on Friday. We figured we should milk the holiday costume as much as we could, since who knows how many years she'll allow us to do this to her, so we continued by dressing her up again for daycare on Thursday. Janet put her Santa hat on to match Andie. On Thursday evening we attended the marine lab holiday party, and showed off Andie's costume some more. On Saturday, we celebrated Christmas with Nana and Papa. New ornament for the tree Kristin and Jason got Papa a fun game called "Doody Head"... Kristin reads the instructions Must play by the rules! Papa pitches a doody Doody doge We had to stop playing the Doody Head game after too long because it turned out Andie was afraid of the hats ... or maybe just of her mom and Papa ... Andie loved...
