Herilino's Locker

We had an incredible time at Uncle James and Auntie Ellie's wedding weekend near Trinity National Forest! It was so nice to unplug and unwind for a few days. The setting was idillic. We saw lots of old friends, and made many new ones. We had buckets of of fun. Andie went down a slip-'n'-slide for the first time. Although Kristin realized about half way down that they were going much too fast for comfort, Andie seemed pretty unimpressed by the whole thing. We dressed up for the ceremony, and then we dressed up some more for the after party. We couldn't be happier for James and Ellie. They are clearly made for one another, and we felt so privileged to be able to share their special weekend with them.

It's probably no surprise that Kristin takes Andie's Muppets education very seriously. So when The Muppets premiered tonight, she made an exception to the no-TV-till-two rule and let Andie watch the show with her and Papa. While Andie loved Kermie ... ... she decided Animal is was favorite.

Andie hasn't been feeling her best since we got back from our trip to Fort Bragg, but we think she's on the mend. Even with a fever, she's been showing off her nearly-perfected crawling skills! She had fun playing with some rings at the end of the day.

We took a Team Herilino trip to Fort Bragg this weekend to belatedly celebrate Kristin and Jason's fourth wedding anniversary. Kristin was sad she forgot her "fancy" camera, but iPhones captured the trip well enough. One of Andie's favorite parts of the trip was the wicker headboard on the hotel bed. She thought it was just the greatest. She experienced her first breakfast Eggheads -- she loved the avocado! And she had her first dinner North Coast Brewery Tap Room -- she loved the rolls and the avocado! We're decided to save her first tasting for a few more years. We played in the sand and watched the sunset on Pudding Creek Beach. We went to the driving range so Jason could hit a bucket of balls in preparation for Uncle James's bachelor party. Kristin thought it would be funny to take Andie's photo as the tattooed lady. Andie was not impressed. She was more intereste...

Papa and Andie had a nice time playing fetch with Hawkeye today. Andie had her very first tooth brushing session tonight. Kristin insisted the professional do the job. Hawkeye was very interested in the process. Papa also shared this happy photo of Andie playing ball with Jason yesterday.
