We have had a wonderful week full of family and friends. Last Friday, Kristin took Andie to the a BBQ at the marine lab. Andie was fascinated by Aunt Ellie's curls. Loving Ellie's locks Grandma visited over the weekend to help out with Andie while Jason was having a backpacking adventure. Ceiling fan admiration As usual, Grandma took some wonderful photos of Andie. Our good friend Mike swung through town as he was going to and from a science expedition in Fort Bragg. It was so nice to see him! We had some great meals together at Barley and Hops and Howard's Station. Mike serenaded Andie with his guitar. We even got to video chat with Rebecca in Switzerland, twice! We miss her bunches!!! Andie made sure to get in some quality time with her big brother Hawkeye this week, too. Kristin, Jason, and Andie took a trip to Boston last weekend so Andie could meet Great-Grandpa A, Aunt Christine, and Uncle Tom. Andie traveled like a champ! She was also the star of the show wherever we went. The flight attendant on the flight to Boston even gave Kristin and Jason Ghirardelli truffles because Andie was so sweet. Kristin and Jason think they'll have to travel with her more often if it means perks like extra chocolate. Baby-ogling on the shuttle In line for the rental car -- Andie is still happy after 10+ hours of traveling! On Friday morning, our good friend Karen came to our hotel to visit. Kristin was apparently too jet-lagged to remember to take some photo documentation, which means Karen is just going to have to make sure to meet Andie again soon.
