Busy April

The month of April has been busy! Here are some highlights: Andie discovered the joy of beads after finding some in the costume box post-Fool's Day Parade. She is even willing to share her beads with big brother Hawkeye. We all enjoyed going to the Fisherman's Festival. Jason liked working at the beer both, and Andie liked dog watching and listening to the music. She also liked the Three Twins ice cream she got to eat. Andie got her first shiner last week after an encounter with a TV tray. She wore it well, and made sure to tell everyone, "You should have seen the other guy!" She spent lots of time doing the things she loves, like playing with bubbles and playing outside. Andie and Kristin went on a hike to check out all the beautiful wildflowers in bloom. Fools

Andie, Kristin, Nana, and Papa enjoyed themselves at the Occidental Fool's Day Parade last weekend. Andie has grown so much since  last year's Fool's parade , when she was just 3 weeks old! 2015 Fool's Parade 2016 Fool's Parade Kristin was impressed with how silly her parents were willing to look in public -- guess not knowing many people in California yet loosened them up a bit. Andie was a bit of a sleepy fool this year. ... ... Perhaps she was just trying to dream away Papa's mullett. Nana and Papa got Andie her very own crab-shaped sandbox last week. She loves trying to eat the sand, until it gets in her mouth. We reported last post about all of the great snuggies Andie is giving everyone these days, and her big brother Hawkeye is no exception!
