Herilino's Locker

The weather has been nice lately, so we've been enjoying lots of time outside. Andie loves climbing and lounging in the chair Uncle Chuck made for her. We've also spent some time playing in the whale pool. The nice weather made Nana so nostalgic for the midwest that she made some of the fake snow Kristin and Jason got her for Christmas. It was pretty gross and nothing like real snow. Now that Andie is proficient at walking, she has decided to tackle driving next. Here she is practicing in a flashy red sports car at the grocery store. Jason scored some more fresh Dungeness and was generous enough to share it with Nana and Papa last weekend. Nana brought over some photos this week of Kristin from when she was Andie's age. Kristin and Andie had a fun weekend together filled with lots of socializing. On Saturday, they went on a hike in Armstrong Redwoods to celebrate their good friend, Dr. Chris, completing his PhD. Adie insisted on going outside to enjoy the rain on Sunday. On Monday, Andie had her first taste of Dungeness crab. She approved! Team Herilino has been working hard lately, so it's always nice to get some lounging in at the end of the day.

It has been fun looking back on a year's worth of photos and memories for Andie's first birthday. Andie and Jason played some peek-a-boo after her 12-month photo shoot. For extra fun, we reenacted a few family photos taken when Andie was a few days old.
