Despite spending a lot of time sick over the past two weeks, we have still had some fun and productive times! Kristin took Jack to the lab for an epic conference call. He got to have a super swanky changing table with an ocean view. He was super chill during the 4-hour long call, and was the only one on the call who never got cranky. He did get a little over it though when Kristin took yet another abalone-related conference call from home later in the week. Jack accompanied Kristin on his second white abalone spawning attempt and was especially excited that the abalone spawned this time! He helped the team check for spawning. He also supervised gamete processing in his sleep. He even put up with Kristin's selfies next to the ocean. ... Though he still isn't entirely sure about the whole selfie thing. The next day, Jack helped Kristin assess how hatching was going with all the new abalone babies. ...
