Andie has loved to climb ever since she learned to crawl. Now that she's even more mobile, she's regularly surprising Jason and Kristin with new heights -- over the back of the couch, out of the bathtub, on top of the sandbox -- she clearly can't wait for her first trip to the climbing gym! Perhaps her love of climbing comes from Jason, who prefers to take the family to secluded beaches with the steepest access points, like this one they recently visited: Just a little ways down there... We made it down in one piece! It was fun combing through the beach rack with Andie. Kristin was excited about all the tiny bull kelp fronds on the beach -- better if they were still attached underwater, but at least there must be some recruitment happening after such a low kelp year!
