Herilino's Locker

We met up with James and Ellie to take part in the Occidental Fool's Parade . We're pretty sure Andie was the youngest fool in attendance. Good to start her early! Kristin tried not to get too many feathers in Andie's mouth during her first public feeding. Andie enjoyed her stroller much more this time. But she was still excited to be held so she could get a better look at all the fools. Jason's cousin Karen and her son, Eden, joined us at the parade (some might remember Eden as the ring bearer, "Carabiner Man", at Kristin and Jason's wedding). Hawkeye made lots of new friends, including this cutie. It was a very successful outing. Andie was impressed by the number of fools she saw. She figures at least her parents are in good company!

We've had so much excitement over the past few days! Andie has gotten lots of quality time with Grandma Jane, and we're sad she has to go home tomorrow. Andie and Grandma Jane We introduced Andie to some classic cinema: Helllllooooo!!! We had our first breakfast outing to Howard Station Cafe -- Thanks, Sophie! We had a lovely visit from our fantastic doula, Connie: Andie received a plush marine invertebrate from some good friends in Boston -- Thanks Jarrett, Lila Rose, and Hailey! Tentacled treasure Andie spent most of her time over the past few days being ridiculously adorable. Andie has long toes like her daddy.

We noticed a pink rose blooming in our backyard so we decided to recreate a photo of Kristin from when she was a baby. Andie might be a little older already than Kristin was in her photo, but here is the result: Kristin, 1983 Andie, 2015 We had a fun time trying to get Andie to pose the same way Kristin was posed. Grandma Jane and Grandpa Stan came to see Andie today. She is so excited to see them again, and we are so happy to have them here! Enjoying the stroller We switched to the carrier   Henry and Nancy stopped by again to see Andie and bring Kristin and Jason a delicious dinner. We all relaxed after a big day.

Andie is two weeks old today! She celebrated with a nap and a walk (during which she also napped). Jason tries out the Moby wrap Andie also met two new faces today.
