Seven months old!

Andie turned 7 months old today! That means she's closer to being a year old than she is to birth. Crazy.

She loves crawling and pulling herself up to standing. She has two bottom teeth, and she loves everything we've given her to eat, especially salmon and avocado (she's a California girl!).

She's so mobile these days, it was difficult to get a photo of her with the squid, but we did the best we could!





Team Herilino has been having lots of fun lately, as usual. Hawkeye recently dressed up in Jason's groom's man garb to show Uncle James support for his nuptials to Aunt Ellie.



Andie has been having fun in the walker Nana and Papa bought for her.



And she loves any household object that's the right height to support her standing activities!



She also likes anything she can put in her mouth.



Kristin and Jason are having fun, too. Who says romance is dead after a baby?

Singing and dancing keeps the romance alive, too:

Changes

There have been a lot of changes over the past six weeks in the Herilino household. Perhaps the biggest is that Nani and Papa moved out! We were so happy to take them in after the fire, and we are even happier that they have found a new place of their own to call home (especially because it isn't in Iowa). They are again just a short drive away in Santa Rosa, and they even promised to still babysit one day a week. Nani and Papa really enjoyed spreading out after being relegated to such tight quarters at the Herilino house. Although they didn't have too much stuff to move, Andie helped them unpack some of their new things. She liked how the packing material stuck to their clean windows. They don't have much in the way of furniture yet either, but Nani and Papa made sure Andie felt comfortable by stocking their house with new toys, a kid's table, and a potty seat. Pizza & ready to crawl

Andie added pizza to her list of foods yesterday, doing right by her New York family heritage. Kristin spent her first night away from Andie last night to throw a bachelorette party for Auntie Ellie. Everyone survived! Andie seems to be pretty close to crawling these days, making Kristin and Jason wonder if they're going to have to dedicate some time to better baby-proofing soon.
